Trusted Management for Your Skagit County Real Estate Assets

Burlington has changed drastically throughout the years.

From being established as a logging camp in 1882 and then a small town in the early 1890s, Burlington is now a thriving town with 8,881 residents. Burlington is a diverse area because it offers different things to locals and tourists.

More and more people are moving to Burlington because its healthcare services, utilities, and transportation are cheaper than the national average. Residential properties in Burlington are also cheaper than in the rest of Washington. For instance, the rent of a studio-type apartment in Burlington only costs $660 per month but $1,011 in Washington. For a two-bedroom room, you’d have to pay $980 every month in Burlington and $1,401 if you lived in other parts of Washington.

The affordability of the cost of living in Burlington is one of the reasons why families and individuals who are starting to live independently choose to move here.

The tourism industry of Burlington also continues to grow because of the variety of attractions and activities it has. Regardless of what your preferences are, you will surely not run out of options when you’re traveling in Burlington.

Chuckanut Drive

For travelers who are looking for a fun day trip, taking a ride down the winding Chuckanut Drive is a great option. This is an ideal destination to visit, especially if you travel to Burlington with children.

There are many things to do on Chuckanut Drive. For starters, visiting this area will give you the most scenic views of Burlington, as well as the colorful sunset during the late afternoon. Eagle Watching

Eagles are powerful and large animals, but not everyone has had the chance to see one up close. Fortunately, you can see one personally when you visit the Skagit River in Burlington, Washington. The Skagit River is home to five different species of salmon, which is why many eagles choose to fish and flock to the area.

Over 400 bald eagles visit the Skagit River every year. They can be seen as early as November until late March, but if you want to see a lot of these beautiful creatures, it’s best to visit the Skagit River in the middle of December.
